Book 1: Please Send Snow
All I want for Christmas is a job! (Okay, sure, also some snow, a chance to finish the book I’ve been writing, and maybe a decent winter coat?) Turns out that being Maddie Foster, heiress to the Foster Christmas Figurine fortune isn’t all it’s cracked up to be—especially after my stepmom takes my inheritance and puts me out on the street. But something leads me back to the small-town lodge in the Poconos where Dad and I used to spend every Christmas. When I arrive, I don’t exactly get the warm welcome I’m expecting. Especially when I meet Jake Stone, the grumpy new billionaire owner, who also happens to be a gorgeous single dad. But his adorable little boy needs my help, and before I know it, I’ve landed a nanny job keeping an eye on little Dylan and helping him write letters to Santa. So what if I get butterflies whenever Jake’s blue gaze falls on me? I might be nearly penniless, sleeping in a broom closet, and dangerously close to falling for my boss, but at least I’m writing again! Everything’s coming up Maddie, until I find out why Jake is really here… Now as Christmas approaches, I’m starting to wish for so many things I never knew I wanted—not just to help the cozy cast of characters at the lodge, who have become like family to me, but also for myself, for sweet Dylan, and yes, even for ruthless, brilliant, annoyingly handsome Jake Stone. |

Book 2: One Golden Ring
I’ve been hiding my crush on Derek Lockwood as long as I’ve worked for him. But I’m not sure I can handle being his fake fiancée… When my boss brings me back to his hometown in the Pocono Mountains at Christmastime to help him run the business remotely while he looks after his sick grandfather, I’m pretty sure I can keep it together. After all, I’ve managed not to drool over the handsome single dad for the last three years. At least, not openly… But the mountains bring out another side of my boss—a side with a manly appetite, a side that chops wood in tight jeans and a flannel shirt, a side that howls at the moon just to make me laugh… And when the rugged widower asks me to wear his ring I’m basically swooning, even though it’s only a pretend engagement. I don’t love the idea of tricking his sweet grandpa, and everyone else in small town Angel Mountain, but I can never seem to say no to Derek Lockwood. It’s only when his daughter shows up that I know I’m in real trouble. I’ve been Judi-Bloom Lockwood’s biggest fan since she came to Take-Your-Daughter-to-Work-Day when she was only ten. But Judi-Bloom is thirteen now, she goes by “J.B.”, and I’m pretty sure my favorite math whiz is figuring out that something doesn’t add up… |

Book 3: Oh Little Town
I’m a city girl through and through. But a single dad and his adorable daughter are starting to make small town Angel Mountain feel a lot like home… Landing a job with a big-city publisher was my dream come true. But causing the scandal that ended my career before it really got started turned it into more of a nightmare. And ever since “the incident,” no other publishing company will even give me the time of day. So when I get the chance to take over a small-town bookshop in the Pocono Mountains, it feels like fate. Running my own little shop isn’t exactly my area of expertise. But at least it’s a life surrounded by books, which is all I ever really wanted. It’s not easy. But somehow, through all the surprises and growing pains, it’s thoughts of Roan Connelly that keep me up at night. The local Christmas tree farmer has a little girl who lights up my whole heart like the north star. And it probably doesn’t help that he’s also unbelievably gorgeous and so kind that it sometimes brings tears to my eyes, or that he smells like pine trees and paradise. But I’m clearly barking up the wrong Douglas Fir, since the rugged single dad seems content to ignore the smoldering chemistry that’s building between us. I guess some things just aren’t meant to be, no matter how hard you try to stay on Santa’s nice list. Now, with a big snowstorm on the way, the bookshop in real trouble, and Roan’s little daughter longing for an unlikely Christmas gift, my only hope is that against all odds, the stars will somehow align for the three of us, and for the little town that I’m starting to love… |
